Walgreens discount prescription a complete scam!

This goes for ALL Walgreen's Drugstores because I checked with more than one. They suck you in and tell you that you will get your prescriptions cheaper if you pay for one of their discount cards. So I did. I am on a blood pressure medication that I have to take every day. When I went to renew the prescription after 90 days, Walgreen's had DOUBLED the price! With no warning and no explanation as to why the medication's price had doubled in less than 3 months.
I checked with XXX and their price was still the lower price that I had paid before. I went back to Walgreens and they still did not want to honor that price. I went to another Walgreens just to see what they were charging.
WALGREENS IS PRICE FIXING, AND DOUBLING THEIR PRESCRIPTION DRUG PRICES FOR CONSUMERS WHO HAVE NO PRESCRIPTION INSURANCE AND WHO HAVE PAID FOR A DISCOUNT CARD! EVERY WALGREENS IS RAISING THEIR PRICES!

I want to know how and why they can justify this if xxx is still charging the lower prices.

do not do business with walgreens. They will never get another dime of my money. This was a scam and a bait and switch scheme.
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
