Cancelled COBRA

I stop my work ultimately of November. I obtained the COBRA info and registered for insurance on February 12th. I did so this about the last evening permitted but needed to get it done through their online program since research were snowed-in with no one was at the office. The machine required my cost and also the following week, I obtained an insurance card. I visited the dentist office to discover that used to do not need protection. Evidently, my previous company had open-enrollment and that I didn't register. Open-enrollment contract was January 17th.

Our disappointment steams out of this organization taking my payment when my choice had been ended per month before they approved my cost. After I questioned why they required a cost, they stated since the national regulation claims they've to provide for 60-days which payment was for Dec. I questioned why could I spend in Feb for that month of November after I had no-work completed?

I recommended them that their methods were dishonest plus they appeared just like a couple of con-men! After I originally named I requested the broker to talk to a boss and he or she put me on-hold. While she returned she mentioned all administrators were hectic and he or she might have a concept. I informed her used to donot mind waiting. She put me on-hold and also the boss acquired immediately. (Thus much to be HECTIC).

He also wouldn't provide me immediate info for their submission division. I told them-they need to have some form of obligation of taking cost and providing false expectations understanding I had beennot qualified. He explained no and they delivered an open-enrollment offer. I didn't realize that I'd to sign up since I have no further worked for that organization and that I did not have any modifications??? But again nothing sprang on their site about open-enrollment OR informing that I had been not qualified. Despite i registered to deliver a contact, notice, OR telephone call to do this after I registered???

The boss mentioned he may request the bill supervisor when they may increase the chance to register open-enrollment. I am still waiting... Don't maintain my fingers crossed.
