I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis.in search of a drug to help my condition, my doctor told me abot Enbrel. I was given a card and told to call this number on the card 1-888-436-2735 and spoke to an Enbrel representative. I was told that this drug sells for about $1700. I told her that I could not afford it. She said with that card Enbrel would be picking up the tab. She said the first six months were free and only $10 a month after that.
I received my first dosage in the mail without a bill or invoice. So i figured they were doing what they said.in total i received three shipments without any paperwork. Yesterday I received a statement from my Insurance company. It said that IO had exceeded my max yearly payout on my prescription plan of $6500. I called my Insurance company and over half the charges were due to Enbrel. What happened to free. Had I known this up front I never would have tried it. Now I can't afford my other prescriptions. I only make 20k a year and with my husband out of work its hard to make ends meet. I feel this Enbrel is a total scam that is taking advantage of the elderly. Please help!
