Mountainside Fitness Scottsdale, what a place!

-Canceled their membership rewards program, so people who paid for it and saved points to get free items... Didn't get them. Always great signing up for a program and not even getting the benefit in the end.
-Tanning bed in the men's locker room is out of service at least 3-5 days a month, and the bulbs are so old it doesn't even get warm anymore. $15 a month to tan, but they won't refund it if the bed is out of order.
-The volume buttons on their "State of the Art" equipment don't work. So if yours happens to be on a low setting when you get on... To bad.

-At one point in July, 4 of the 5 Stairmasters were out of order.
-They have a movie theater, but don't get too excited because the projector has been broken 2 of the last 3 months.
-The equipment on the floor doesn't work properly because instead of getting warranties and having the machines serviced, they have an in-house mechanic. The "Cable Crossover" has snapped on two people in the past month.

The staff is as nice and attentive as you could possibly ask for. Which is why it's evident the ownership/upper management has ruined this once proud fitness club chain. I almost feel bad when I see them listening to another customer complaint about something they've heard 20 times already, but can't do anything about because they don't have management approval.
