LA Fitness in LaHabra is at it again Ripping-Off their customers in a big way!

Whether it's total and complete incompetence, or just their way of cost savings, CAUTION is warranted before you sign up for membership or renewal.

Other than the standard free weights, weight machines and facilities (which you can find at any gym) the Men's Steam Room and Sauna have never worked with any measure of consistency over the past several years.

The staff says it's because their Corporate Office has been notified many many times, but doesn't seem to care about maintaining and repairing the equipment, and the Corporate Office continually states they know nothing about the problem. Even after numerous complaints and phone calls to the Corporate Office over a six to eight month period complaining about the on-going broken equipment, the LA FITNESS Corporate Office continues to ignore the fact that their equipment doesn't work, they aren't delivering the services and level of service they initially promise they will deliver when they take your money, and they seemingly don't care enough to repair and maintain their equipment. Lots of excuses No delivery!

The general consensus it that As long as they've got you as a member and got your money - there's nothing they need to do keep you happy until your membership comes up for renewal at which time they'll promise you anything and deliver nothing.

Fortunately, alternatives do exist. The 24 Hour Fitness located 1/2 mile from the La Habra LA FITNESS location has the same or better machines, weights and facilities, and their Steam Room and Sauna DOES work - all the time.

Thirty minutes of research and visits to both locations BEFORE you spend your money will save you many months (and years) of disappointment and frustration. Don't be fooled - 24 Hours Fitness is definitely the way to go!!
