SPA-IN-A-BOX Pumps are garbage!

Health & Medicine

Comfort Line Products makes the Spa-in-a-box, a portable hot tub. Their pumps are garbage.

We bought our spa in February. When it arrived we were disappointed to find that the pump did not work. We immediately called the customer service number. They sent us a "new" pump, read refurbished.

3 months later that pump burned out. We called customer service and were told that we would have to pay "shipping and handling" of $89.00, because it had been more than thirty days. We thought to ourselves... OK.

That pump arrived. 3 months later the pump breaks, yet again..."new" pump sent. Again, $89.00.3 months later...

Beginning to see a pattern here???

The last time I called the customer service line, I was livid. I demanded to talk to a member of management. I was connected to a phone that rang and rang. I called the "management member" several times and was finally connected with an answering system.

Did I receive a call back? NO!

I sent an e-mail... No return message. Three e-mails and several calls on different days at different times... NO return call or message.

Do yourself a favor... Skip the Spa-in-a-box unless you can afford to pay "shipping and handling" of $89.00 every 3 months.
