Ladies of America closed in Oct. 2007. I received a notice stating that they were trying to reopen in a new location and under new ownership.
When they did reopen in a different location I think it was in April I received a letter about continuing my membership and it stated that the letter had been sent only to members not under current agreements with them.
The new location closed also though I don't know exactly when because as far as I knew I was no longer a member any way. However, I just got on line with my banking and discovered that I have had $29.99 charged on my account for the last three month and probably a lot longer. The place isn't even open. I'm extremely upset about paying for??? What?
I will find out the details i.E. How long they have been ripping me off and just how long they have been doing it. I'll get back with further details as soon as I am able to find out. I wonder how many other women have been getting charged and aren't aware of it.
