Violation of AIDS Services Law, Disability Discrimination Law ripoff

WestCare's The Living Room violates the law by expelling an HIV-positive Client. WestCare holds the only contract in Fresno County to provide Client Services to persons who are HIV-positive. On May 3, they expelled me, a 60-year old, very sick Client.

They violated the AIDS SERVICES LAW which makes it illegal to deny persons who are HIV-positive or who have aids. This law covers persons, agencies, organizations and corporate bodies, and makes it illegal for them to discriminate in housing, employment, public accommodations, credit or delivery of services.

They are violated the DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION LAW which covers either physical or mental disaabilities. I am also legally disabled. This act makes it illegal for any person or entity regulated by the Stete, receiving financial assistance from the State or doing business in the State to discriminate against a qualified disabled person in employment, housing, or any program, acitvity or service.

The decision to suspend and terminate services was based on a strong opinion I expressed at a Group Support Meeting for HIV-positive persons, and opinion expressed appropriately and with great respect.
