I tried to order some meds online from www.usmedsatcost.com, not thinking that I needed a prescription. No where on the website did it say that I needed a precsription (at first). I should have gotten suspicious because it asked for the family doctor that I went to. It turns out that they charge you 19.95 up front, no matter what, to "process" your order.in the box where it asked for my attending physician, I had put "none". They still charged me the $19.95 to "process" my order. Also, they charge you 19.95 after the first "free" month for a membership to RXDiscountClub. So they keep sticking it to you even though they won't fill your orders.
As you read farther down on their webpage, it tells you all about how they comfirm your doctor and get an OK from him before they fill the prescription, but they do not make this clear until you try to order the meds.
So I (not reading down far enough) waited four days to get a confirmation email which never came. But I DID get the $19.95 taken out of my bank account for "processing" my order. I called the number on my statement and cancelled my "membership" before they could take any more money out of my account for doing absolutely nothing for me in the first place.
It also does not fill the orders itself. My order was sent thru www.frontierpharmacies.com (1-866-385-5090). And G and G Services sometimes processes their accounts for them (1-866-384-0667). I had tried to contact this company the day after I placed my order but never got thru to a real person (even though I was calling during their business hours). I left a message, but never heard back from them. I did call the number on my statement (LSM5-us-pay.com 866-2215391) to cancel my membership and they did send me an email saying that I was cancelled. (Still won't get back my $19.95 "processing" fee).
So it's not a ripoff really. Just a cleverly misleading website.
