Contract Rip-off!

Lady of america gym aventura florida.

I had specifically asked the owner of lady of america gym, aventura, if i would be able to cancel my membership (in the future) because of possible 'unforeseen circumstances' dealing with my employement. The owner of lady of america gym (whom pretended to speak barely any english) advised that i could "defiantly cancel at anytime!"... Showing me the front page of the 'cancelation policy of the contract.'

Months down the line, i was relocated to an area where lady of america does not exist. I did in fact return my membership card and a letter of intent of cancellation (via certified mail) to the home office as requested on the contract.

I soon thereafter called the home office of lady of america. The gentleman to whom i spoke with, advised he had never recieved my membership card; advised i had to get in touch with the aventura gym and then hung-up.
I spoke with the owner of aventura gym... (whom now spoke in fluent english) that i could not nullify my contract; "i would either have to be 100% maimed/disabled per physician's orders; require a electric bill in my name; and prove that there is not a 'affiliated' lady of america within a 25 mile proximity of my residence."
nonetheless, the closest lady of america within proximity to my residence is 'curves.' (exactly not a 'full-scale gym' that i had intially paid and signed up.)

At this point, i am being harrassed by the owner's creditor's and the owner herself. I am fully intending on taking the owner, lady of america and any affliates to court to pursue my contractual and consumer rights.
I am also intending on reporting the owner, lady of america and any affliates to the better business bureau, consumer affairs of miami-dade, district attorney's office of florida, new times weekly newspaper, sun sentinel, miami herald and local consumer affairs via television media.

I am aware of my contract. However, i am aware that i had signed a contract for a full-scale gym at 39.99 a month. Yet, lady of america is holding a contractual obligation to a 'weight-loss facility' that holds nothing near to what i have originally bargained for... Curves weight loss center is not a full-scale gym... Is not charging any of their members 39.99 a month... Does not offer cardio machines, cardio classes, yoga, and other such services that i am paying. For this reason, i am taking lady of america, aventura to the media; to the court system and to florida's affairs department.
