Microsoft took my points away that were given to me because I over paid for an xbox 360 game

Microsoft got my details aside which were directed at me since I over-paid for an xbox 360 console game. They'll not provide me my points again, the points I taken care of, simply because they declare these were promotional factors. Easily was handed details back since I over-paid to get a sport, should not I have the ability to maintain these factors which were initially taken care of by me??
