Unwilling to keep a custome

Made purchase on 3-18-11 assembled item found identical item $10 less at competitor. Refusal on company part to adjust purchase price and refusal to take item back with full refund with receipt because item is "used". It is assembled and undamaged. You offer price adjustment on sale items with ad, however this is an everyday price and you would rather alienate a customer than keep one. Sad commentary for your company. I will continue to dissuade friends and family from shopping at target simply because you do not stand behind your customer service motto.
