Lane Claudia 637 sofa and chai

My husband and I helped our daughter purchase a Lane 637 Claudia sofa and chair from Schewels Furniture in Roanoke, VA in March. Within a couple of months the cushion on the back of the chair started to sag on one side. This side of the back cushion was already pushed down quite a bit where the strapping had been around chair. There is not enough stuffing in the back to stay in the top of the cushion. We complained to the store and they sent one of their resentatives to our daughter's house. He laid the chair back on the floor and pushed the stuffing back up into the top the cushion. He said that should fix the problem. It did for a few days. The place is very noticeable. He also commented that Lane Furniture is poor quality, which was not very encouraging to customers who are already unsatisfied. Had we known that fact, we would not have made the purchase.

Our next complaint is about the sofa. We just noticed that the seams on the edges of the cushions where the fabric has been pieced is pulling apart. One is almost an inch wide and is held by threads only. If this continues to pull it will cause the tops and bottoms of the cushions near the cording to rip.
We are very unhappy with this furniture, especially our daughter. She is a single Mom and has to pinch pennies and hoped to get more than one year's use out of her new sofa and chair.
We feel a company with the good reputation that Lane has should stand behind their furniture and warranties. Therefore we would like a full refund or at least the choice to choose between a replacement sofa and chair or the option of choosing a set of equal value. Thank you.
