Home depots failure to honor free life time battery replacement - 18 volt ridged tool kit

I purchased an 18volt ridged tool kit and was promised at the time of purchase all i had to do was bring in my receipt and the bad battery and it would be replaced =well that will never happen at the kohler wi store=i was told no way there then i tried to contact the corporate people but they blew me off=so they have my bad battery and i never got a replacement=dont be fooled by home depot s promises
