Sales are a scam IMHO

Every time there is a good sale on meat, they have very little of it and sell out quickly. If you get a rain check, they then make sure they do not restock for more than 30 days while they wait for all of the rain checks expire. This has happened dozens of times. I have complained repeatedly. It's a scam IMHO. They had $1 chicken breast last month. I got a rain check. No chicken breast for a whole month in the store! They had $1 "value pack" chicken breast again today. Sold out immediately. They had hundreds of rain checks already photocopied so they would not have to write them. They will not have any chicken breast for at least a month. They will put it all in smaller packages that do not qualify.
