Cancelled my early Black Friday TV orde

Sears is offering early access to Black Friday deals online if you are a rewards member with them. The access site went live at 5pm CST on 11/18. The very minute it went active I purchased the 32" Seiki LCD HDTV SC322TI deal for $97. This is the same TV being advertised in their paper Black Friday ads. The option to have this TV shipped during the order process did not exist so I chose in store pickup at my local Sears. The site said I should be able to pick it up in 9-12 days but that I would receive an email saying it was ready for pickup. I entered my payment info and completed the transaction.

Next I received a confirmation email in my inbox #428*54 (took out middle digits to keep somewhat private) saying my order had been successfully completed and that I should expect an email notifying me when it would be ready to pick up in the store. Today I, as long as a lot of my friends who bought the same TV, received an email saying my order had been cancelled because the unit was "out of stock" but they could still get it to me I simply needed to alter my options. These options weren't listed in the email so I called customer service.

I got someone in another country who could hardly understand me so I called my local store. The local guy said that his store and none of the other nearby stores had any of these TV's in stock when the site went live. He gave me the number for the US executive offices. I called there (1-800-549-4504) and spoke to a guy named Louie (contact: 1-888-266-4043 ext 55) who told me that the ad had been put up in error. I understand things happen but we're talking about a functioning link in the ad itself. Then a functioning link to put it in the cart.

Then a functioning link to take payment info. Then the system sent me a confirmation email! I'm sorry but if this was a mistake I don't see why it would function properly ALL THE WAY TO THE END and the send me a CONFIRMATION EMAIL!!! This is clearly a bait and switch and Sears needs to answer for this. Please, everyone else who was effected contact Sears at that number. Maybe if enough people band together we can get something done. Here's to hoping...
