Destroyed a $2,500.00 Dell laptop

I had the Geek Squad take my daughters lap top and had them to clean it up and to put their Virus protection on it. They were also told to make back up discs to make sure she would not loose all her information that was in her laptop. They told us that it would be done in a few days well after a week plus they called and we went to pick it up. They not only didn't make the back up disc she requested. They destroyed all her programs that came with her laptop from Dell.

We contacted one of their techs and he told us that they could get all her information back, but it was very costly. Since then we had three people contact us and they will not do anything. The last person I talked to said he would have someone higher than him call me last week (6/19) Today is 6/25 and still NO call. They gave me a cheap laptop and said for me to take it or leave it. I told the last person I will gladly give it back just as soon as you get all the information you stole from my daughters laptop. She had over 1.000 pictures of her son with all the Monster Truck Drivers for the last three years. Besides all her personal information.

Best Buy doesn't care about what they do to peoples property. All I want is what they lost in my daughters laptop I don't care if it does cost $1.000.00 "If you work on peoples products you should make up back up Disc to make sure this doesn't happen and if it does then you should pay the price to get it back! Or Better still GET OUT of the Business"

The old saying is "BUYER BEWARE" People stay away from Best Buy and the Geek Squad! Now my daughter has a $2,500.00 Dell Laptop paper weight
