I am returning this stove, don't want it repaired

It should have been mounted in another person's home:. Within the shop it appeared completely new? The very first evening I applied the stove the heat shot-up past 350, the home smoke alarm went down and also the device quickly closed off|. I attempted to show it back on-but got a note about the dash 'Purpose Unavailable'? What? My spouse reset the range to show about the stove and "Purpose Unavailable" arrived on-again. I'm returning this range; do not want to buy fixed as evidently I've a used orange.
