I purchased a Hitachi hard drive at Fry's Electronics on may 22 for the amount of $299.99 (324.74 with tax). A bit pricy, but with a two rebates, one of $20.00 offer by Fry's electronics and the other of $120.00 by Hitachi, the remaining price of $160.00 seem fair to me.
However, i recently receive a post card stating that "Unfortunately we could not honor your request due to the following reason (s): the original UPC barcode was not included with you rebate submission." I had included everything but the box, which is all the remains. I mail everything as require for the rebate to granted. How can i reproduce the original barcode if i sent it already.
