Scam, Don't Waste Your Time!

I was in need of repair for both my washer and dryer. Scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad for 10 days later. I knew what was wrong and knew the exact parts that were needed. I gave the info to the scheduler, including part numbers. I was quoted pricing for both the trip charge and the parts. They promised to bring them along.

Eight days later, I received a phone call saying they had to reschedule my appointment as all the techs were in a training session. (Why didn't they know this ahead of time???) I rescheduled and also confirmed that they had the parts we discussed. I was told that they had cancelled the parts because I told them that I was "thinking about it" and had "changed my mind". Huh??? Didn't happen! I insisted that they order the parts and bring them, and was told that this was impossible and that only a tech could order parts. I wasn't happy, but scheduled with the unhappy knowledge that this is now a two date fix.

Received two subsequent calls saying I needed to reschedule appointment again. When I called back, no one had any knowledge of this. Who knows if they're going to show up or not now???

Received a call the morning of the appointment from the tech. He had the time wrong and my address wrong. I corrected him on both accounts.

Tech came, handed me an estimate for the washer only. (What about the dryer??? The appointment was for both!) The price of the labor/trip charge was $40 more than discussed and the cost of the part was more than double what I had been quoted.

To make a long story short; I asked him to leave and will never call Geek Squad again. They clearly have communication issues and honesty issues. Do not waste your time trying to deal with this miserable company!
