I recently worked with Tim at Best Buy in San Rafael, CA. I bought a widescreen Canon Digital camera over a year ago to use in compiling an interior design portfolio. I was finally ready to move forward. Tim, who has an AA degree in photography from Santa Rosa Junior College, gave me a free beginning tutorial. (I know that in the future I will pay, but that is more than fair.) He requested that I spend some time with the camera and come in with questions, which I did. We then sat down and spent a great deal of time. He explained the basics of the camera and answered all of my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. He was a wealth of knowledge. He gave me his email for future questions. I couldn't have been happier. I understand that the Geek Squad is exploring the idea of having more trained/educated members, such as he. I think that is a great idea. The more knowledge a customer receives the more he will become a repeat customer. I have been buying products from them over the past few years and plan to use them whenever possible. I am sold! - Trish from San Rafael.
