Ripoff I hate the service I get from T-Mobile

Electronics and household app.

I signed up for T-Mobile in September. At the time, I was under a year contract with Verizon. I told this to the sales associate, and he replied that since T-Mobile was new and trying to get customers, that T-Mobile would pay new customers their cancellation fees if they were with another carrier. Believing this, I signed up with T-Mobile and cancelled my Verizon contract, and paid the 200$ early cancellation fee. I did this thinking that I would be receiving a check from T-Mobile to cover this. I was told by the sales associate that I would be recieving a check fro 200$ in 4-6 weeks.

3 months passed and no check, so i called up the T-Mobile customer service and they told me that they never had any promotion like that and that I would not be getting any check. I told them that I cancelled Verizon because of what the sales person told me, and their response was, "I'm sorry if you misunderstood what the salesman told you, but he wouldn't have told you that you would be paid your cancellation fee". Very rude.

I called again and spoke to another customer service rep, and told them my situation. I was told that the Kiosks at the mall that sell and activate T-Mobile are only authorized dealers, and that T-Mobile will not pay for any promotions that the individual Kiosk dealers said. Basically, they said I was out of luck. Even worse, that Kiosk that I originally bought my phone from is no longer there. I hate the service I get from T-Mobile. I tried to switch my service over to AT&T, and was told that I could get service as soon as T-Mobile releases my number. Well, that was in December of and I am still waiting for T-Mobile to release my number.
