Poor customer service

I'm writing to remark on my dissatisfactorily shopping experience at J&R at City Hall yesterday. I was shopping for an adapter for my camera charger. I stopped by a J&R store (cameras, etc.) and asked an sales associate who was behind the counter for help. She redirected to another person for assistance when it wouldn't hurt her to find me the adapter herself because she wasn't doing anything at the moment. The person who I was directed to was not confident that the adapter she selected was appropriate for my charger. If so, she shouldn't have recommended it to me. She directed me to another store in which the sale associate redirected me to a third store. It was in the third store (store #8) in which a supervisor/manager took initiative to find me the right adapter. When it came to checking out, I went to an available cashier who redirected me to another cashier who was further down. That is simply laziness to not want to assist me.in all, I went to three stores to find the adapter, which is an annoyance due to the staff being incompetent and not knowledgeable to direct me to the appropriate store. Visiting two stores would have been alright, but three stores is excessive.in addition, I was very dissatisfied by the poor customer service and product knowledge that demonstrated by your store staff, notably three sales associates/cashiers; more so because I came from a competitor, Best Buy to make my purchase. I had a bad shopping experience at Best Buy only to continue to receive bad service at J&R. There was an opportunity for J&R to differentiate itself from its competitor in terms of customer service but I was let down.
