T-Mobile Corporation I was sold a cell phone and service but the service is quite unsatisfactory

Electronics and household app.

Dear Mr. Dotson:

I had sent you a letter back in February 14. More than five months have gone by and I haven't heard from you.

My name is Rick Sluss. Im a 60 year old man and don't know much about cell phones. I hope you can help me. I was given your name as the contact person in Washington, for T-Mobile Corp.

Last year, I was recommended by a good friend of mine to get a cell phone through T-Mobile. The service is excellent and I'd have good luck with it. So, I purchased a simple contract and one of those Nokia flip phones, from a T-Mobile sales booth. Well, it started out fine but then I had some problems with the cell phone reception.

I took the phone in to have it checked out several times but it was okay. They told me it could be antenna problems. Not long after this diagnosis, I moved to another part of town. I also had to purchase another phone because of damage to the Nokia phone. I had to purchase an older model Samsung cell phone, from another T-Mobile sales booth because of limited funds.

I continued having reception problems and dropped phone calls. This became a big problem for me. I couldn't do much about getting a different phone provider because of the problems I was having.

I also had problems with the many people through billing because I couldn't get satisfaction with my service plan. I don't believe in texting and I have a continual problem with this on my phone. I don't take calls that deal with texting.

I've been doing well with keeping up with my payments but it got out of hand here for a couple of months because of my being injured in an automobile accident. This set me back close to two months and I'm now $328.78 in arrears. I'm not asking for special consideration for my debts but you need to know that I've been contacted by T-Mobile repeatedly to make good on the bill.

You people don't seem to understand that I can only make a payment in good faith and if you check my account, I just made two payments this month. There's no way I can even obtain more money to pay on my account. You allow me incoming phone calls but if it goes into voice mail, I can't call into my own voice mailbox to retrieve messages. That's a very sneaky way to irritate your
customers. Are you aware this type of thing is now happening in your company?

When I have to receive or place a call in my house, I have to walk near one of my windows and I sometimes find the call is dropped. This happens at all hours of the day and this is very annoying. Other people don't seem to have a problem with using their phone in my home. I don't know where to draw the line with my present experience with T-Mobile.

I'm torn between giving up on T-Mobile service altogether or switching to a disposable cell phone, like Tracfone. I'll have to watch my minutes and I won't have to worry about texting, then.
