Dropped a call from my mom in the hospital, that was the last straw

Electronics and household app.

My service with AT&T over the years has been terrible, I have witnessed 2 major emergencies and was unable to connect to 911 both times. They consistently acknowledged dropping 15% of my calls, but refused to credit my bill every month. Oh, and I just love talking to customer service reps who don't speak English and tell me they can't understand me the entire time.

The Final Straw
I am awaiting one of the most important calls of my life from my mom in the hospital, and SURPRISE, call dropped, couldn't get service for 10 minutes, and didn't get to speak with her at all. This was at my home, where I usually have great service. I called customer service to ask WTF happened, they couldn't tell me, nor would they credit my account. SO, I go to cancel service (not in contract), they tell me nothing about not being able to pro-rate my bill when I cancelled, so I was charged for a full month when I only used 12 days of service.
