Mac Recycling - Sellers of damaged mac parts

I bought a replacement LDVC cable for my mac laptop. Upon arrival I didn't check if it is really working or not, because I trusted these people. I replaced my cable with this one and it didn't work. I wondered why and open the laptop again to see that one of the wires was severely damaged - that is broken. It is highly unlikely that I had damaged it, since I took my laptop apart several times without having any issues. Also I am an experimental physicist, so I know how to handle electronics.

Tried to return the product claiming "Dead on Arrivals". After issuing the RMA, they suggested to wait for further instructions. No instructions since two weeks and their RMA expires after 10 calendar days. I tried to call them, email them and left the voicemail. No response.

Of course I can solder it back again and sell it on the ebay, or just forget about it since it was $40, but I want to warn others who my fall into this scam.

Don't buy from this company!
