I bought an 1200 watt inverter for my husband on 12/11/10. When I purchased it I was asked if I wanted an extended warranty, which I declined. I assumed the puchase of this product had a year warranty like most products have. Exactly 4 months to the day the inverter quit working. I had keep my receipt and called the store I bought the inverter at. They told me there was only a 90 day warranty on this product. If I would have been told that to start with I might have purchased the extra warranty or most likely not bought it at all. That tells me that they now there products are defective.
