False Advertisement, Misleading and Negligence. I returned a cell phone for poor service. I am being charged a early termination fee of $330 when I returned the phone under 30 days. I was told that I

I purchase two Droid Phone from Verizon on Dec. 4 from the Torrance, Ca Branch. The sales rep.insured my wife and I that we could return the phone if we were not satisfied with the service and had (30) days. The phone had a defective battery and had to be replaced, the telemarketer phone calls started immediately all hours of the night, and the calls from our residence in Orange County were intermittent along with the 3G Network. The coverage according to the website covered our area, but in small print indicated (These Coverage Locator maps depict predicted and approximate wireless coverage. The coverage areas shown do not guarantee service availability, and may include locations with limited or no coverage). My wife & I laughed about it because we have a huge billboard next to our residence advertising the Droid Phone. I kept one of the phones and returned the other on Dec. 29 under the (30) days. I had the receipts and returned it to the Hawthorne Branch because it was closer to work. I paid the $35.00 restock charge and returned the phone with a credit on my account. The bill for January came in with a charge of $165.00. I checked the bill and was paying for the additional line after I returned the phone. I contacted a Customer Service Rep. (HENRY) and explained the situation. It took about 20 minutes to document all the information and I would receive a phone call on my cell on Feb. 13 at noon that the billing would be resolved. I received a call from an unknown number from HENRY at 7:00am on 2/13 indicating the request was denied. I am now obligated to pay for a cell bill for $ 540.26 due March 4.
