Less than 12 hours after finding an MP3 player price at $89.99 on the Circuit City website and confirming that inventory existed at its Plymouth Meeting, PA store, the price jumped $30 to $119 the following day with no warning on the website that the price was only good until midnight the night I found the lower price and that I should order the MP3 player via their website.
Plymouth Meeting store management said that, "Our prices change all the time, " and refused to honor the price I showed her from the Circuit City website. I will go out of my way to harass Circuit City for the $30 they stole from me in every legal venue possible. This company has no concept of customer service, and the non-confrontational training managers recieve is to blame any problem on upper management or the "system" so that they are held harmless from any dispute with a customer.
I truly pray that others who have been treated so fraudulently come together and make enough of a stink that Circuit City's stock price plummets and a lot of dishonest people are thorwn out of work. Maybe then people will understand that they cannot use the Nuremburg defense as a way to rip off the public.
