The Good Guys
'The good guys' Audio & Electronic Retail Stores aren't so good

Electronics and household app.

I bought a new computer from the good guys in august 1996 with a 6 year service contract. Everything was fine untill a few years later when the computer started having hardware problems. I had taken it in 4 times, they had to replace the CD-ROM and the Hard drive.
But I was still having problems.

So I looked at the contract and I found the "No Lemon" policy, which states, If the productneeds to be repaired 2 times in 12 months they will replace it. I had to get my computer repaired 5
times in the past 24 months!

I took it in to the store but they don't sell computers anymore. I talked to the manager, but he was of no help, he just gave me some numbers to call. So i called in december but I was on hold for about an hour and they said they didn't have any record of it bieng serviced. But in their computer the contract expired in august. That got nowhere and I have been putting it off untill now.

But the second time I called to get my replacement they said the contract expires in 2000! They canged it!!! They didn't want to replace my computer so after I called the first time, they canged the experation date in their computers. Do not buy a PPG contract from them unless you want to spend hours on the phone trying to get a replacement.
