Fraudulent Account

On 11/16/09 I obtained a verification notice from Verizon Wireless confirming that I'd exposed a-mobile bill together. I instantly named customer support when I had exposed no such consideration. I had been informed that Verizon had shut the consideration on 11/11/09 because of scam. Five (5) telephone numbers were linked to the consideration and 5 rim surprise telephones have been requested. The consultant also explained that it'd been exposed using my title, tackle and social security number. For almost any extra information I'd have to consult with their fraud division. Many telephone calls later I've yet to consult with a scams division consultant because they are usually "experiencing strange call volume". I've been positioned on hang on 6 various occasions simply to be disconnected after 20 minutes! One-one occasion I could abandon a speech concept and was guaranteed somebody might call-back, but I Have yet to listen to from anybody. Why is things worse is the fact that I plan to document a police reeport and can't get any info from Verizon how this scam was perputrated! Overview of my credit history at-all three-credit companies uncovered no credit questions from Verizon. Are they simply offering telephones to theives? This perspective simply escalates the liklihood that identitytheft may happen. When I do possess a Verizon home, I've to speculate whether this scam and identitytheft was dedicated by Verizon workers. I am eliminating my home, have documented them towards the FTC and NYS Attorney General. Just how can we protect ourselves from identitytheft and scam when businesses like Verizon Wireless wont aid the patients?
