Awful overall

I purchased an Akai 42" Plasma T.V. From eCost.com on 9/3/08. Around 10/8/08 there was a 3' black stripe down the right side about 3" from the advantage. I've delivered numerous emails to Akai US and also to a number of different divisions and also have not gotten anything-but a car-responder declaring they obtained my mail and certainly will return to me. That they never did. Our 12 months manufacturer guarantee is approximately up and that I am on the fixed-income and can't pay the $715.00.
