I ordered a video card from Gearxs.com. It was advertised as new, but they sent out an old, dirty, used and bent up item. When I called to get a refund they told me to go to their site and use their refund portal and get an RMA number. I refused to do that since the site said that by hitting the submit button that I legally would agree to their return policies. The reason I refused is because their return policy basically states that you are giving them the right to use their own discretion on whether or not they want to give you a refund or not. So I kept calling and getting hung up on. I turned in a dispute in Paypal and after they denied my refund through Paypal I receive death threats from the owner. Little did he know that my husband is a Criminal Prosecuting Attorney and we then had to get the Police and FBI involved. To make a long story short, beware with this company. They have some good ratings, but they cut corners with every other customer. You may end up being the one that they cut corners on and cheat. If you feel you have been cheated DO NOT Wait! Go DIRECTLY to your bank or credit card Fraud Department. They will make you fill out some paper work. Also track and keep ALL emails you get from Gearxs.com. We have had to hire a private investigator to keep tabs on the owners of the company and the following information will help you too. The best thing is to deal directly with your bank or credit card company. Next call the Illinois State Attorney's office and report Gearxs.com. You can also contact the Better Business Bureau, although they cannot take any disciplinary action, they will record everything and this will be good for the District Attorney and Prosecuting Criminal Attorney of Illinois. Trying to get honest service from Gearxs.com is like trying to part the Red Sea and they have a track record of threatening their victims. Like I said, we've already gotten the FBI, District Attoreny, and the Morton Grove Sheriff's Department.
