Nikon Corporation
Extended warranties and idiots at Nikon

Electronics and household app.

Dear James M:

Your paperwork was forwarded to our department for review. The extended warranty you submitted to us was for a Coolpix S1 camera, serial number 30327797. You mailed us a Coolpix L12, serial number 30327797 in a Coolpix 3200 box. I would suggest just to double check with your dealer Jack's camera and make sure they have the correct model in their system. You can fax us the correct copy @ 310/335-9242 attn: Mona/ref# 5040267.

Thank you,
Mona

It is pretty obvious that the extended warranty was for the serial number you have unless you are all idiots. I am contacting no one. I can tell you that I will never buy another Nikon product and very soon I will be buying a Canon 50dMark II rather than the D-700. I started with Nikon in 1968 with a Photomic FTN. I then moved to the F-3 HP. Next was a coolpix 8700. Next came a D70S. Next came a D-200. I currently have a D-300. Nikon has cost itself a loyal customer by ripping me off for the price of a repair to a cheap camera I bought for my grand daughter. Her new camera will be a Canon. This type of treatment of loyal customers is what has put Chrysler, Gm and Ford into their precarious positions. Look over you shoulder Nikon, Canon and Sony are gaining. Please send the unrepaired camera back to me and I will mount it on a plaque so that I can look at it whenever I think Nikon. The box came from a camera I bought for my daughter because my grand daughter's box was discarded you idiots. A former customer who refuses to play your games.

I am sorry I lost it after reading your stupid response Mona. Obviously Nikon is a caring company if they hired someone with the severe developmental disabilities you have. Leaving Nikon is just my way of saying that I don't begrudge someone as stupid as you having a job, I just resent having you handle my case. I really meant to put the serial number on a disposable camera and send it in my D-300 box so that I could get a new D-300 returned to me. I am going to find out just how to send a copy of your e-mail to the President of Nikon in Japan. I think he should know you are working on his behalf. Please explain why the camera sent in had the serial number of the camera I paid for the extended warranty on. Could you explain that to me. I have written a couple of reviews so far and I will be pasting your e-mail in the future reviews I write for the Nikon extended warranty. P.S. Social Security has something called SSI which I think you should give some serious consideration to going for. If they try to say you don't have a developmental disability please feel free to refer them to me, I will be happy to relate my experience with you to them
