Magicjack
100% misrepresentation on product

Electronics and household app.

Magicjack advertises on TV that you plug the Magicjack into your computer and your phone line. The cost was $46.90 for zero cost telephone local and long distance service. There is no further cost except $19.95 that they will charge to your credit card annually. But, when, after seeing online all of the bad reports about Magicjack not working properly or not at all and problems with their technical division, I attempted to get some answers and could only email them of which I did many times, only to get each time a reply the next day that I would have to plug the Magicjack into my computer, change my phone number and use the chat room. And, each time by email, I asked to cancel me out and close their account on me of which they refused and said I would have to join the chat room.

Finally, I got a phone number for Magicjack from my credit card company and called them and waited on the phone for 40 minutes, my cost, for someone in customer service to answer. I talked with a person by the name of Ann who told me that my account would be cancelled. The next day, I get an email (no name is ever on their emails) telling me to plug my Magicjack into my computer and I would get a new phone number. They are very deceitful and do not tell the full story and also misrepresent the facts, 100%.
