We are contractors and we have to buy our own wire, and well everything that you need to install a Directv satellite system except the dish and receivers and they even make us buy our own poles at $20 each and give them to the customer for FREE if the customer does not wont to pay for it, it just comes out of our pocket and the charge us back if any of Directv junky refurbished equipment goes bad with in 90 days,

Just last week I put in a new receiver for a customer and it stopped working after two days and I was told I had to make a second trip for free to replace it or get charged back for the little money they paid me to put it in to begin with. They also make us install phone lines even if the customer has cell phone only also they will charge us back if we are not at the customers home at the time they tell the customer we will be there and most of the time I will get two or more jobs a day that will have the same start time. We also are told that if we call the customer and do not get an answer we still have to go to the house anyway and if they are not home when we get there well we just wasted out time and gas.
