Incompetent In Shipment

Week before Christmas I had shipped my iPod to TechRestore. I was told that I would have it back in a few days. Everything was being overnighted. Their mailing package to me, me overnighting the iPod to them, then they overnighting it back.

It never got overnighted back to me. It is currently being shipped ground. I was told I would get it back in time for an important meeting I had with a potential client.

I use my iPod for video presentations.

I spoke to a customer service person, I think it was the owner, he was apologetic. He did give me a full refund.

I had my meeting with the potential client. However, I did not get my iPod back, nor did I have enough time to recreate the videos. The client passed on my company.

I am very angry and feel that any customer wanting to work with TechRestore should take into consideration that they are not capable of mailing back in the timely manner they speak of. At least not to me. Especially me when I had concerns of it being back to me before this meeting.

I read someone else's review of their lack of competence. I strongly feel this is a pattern with this company.

I am not finished here. The full refund was an attempt to create their mistake. But my company is lost out on a $15,000 video job.

How are you going to make up for that TechRestore?

Give me a new iPod like you did the other fellow?

And the thing that scares me the most, I haven't even gotten my iPod back yet. It may not even be mine, or worse, it could have had all the files deleted.

Time will tell.
