Billing Harassment

DirectTV cannot make up its mind. When I refused to be held hostage by their poor picture quality and horrendous customer service, they informed me there would be a $100.00 cancellation fee. Fine, well worth the cost to be rid of them. Then in one week's time they send me one statement informing me of a credit balance. Two days later I receive my American Express bill with a $175.00 charge on it. When I called DirectTV for clarification, the customer service (I use that term loosely...) representative was more confused about this billing contradiction than I. When I got no where with him, I sent all information to American Express to dispute the charge. American Express agreed with me, reversed the charge, and I thought that would be the end of it. Within the last week I have received from DirecTV again, a notice informing me of a credit balance, and a PAST DUE notice for $175.00. Now I have to find an address for a DirecTV executive so I can get the evidence to him and STOP THE HARASSMENT!
To top it off, they refuse to come and remove the unsightly satellite dish that they installed.
