Won't stand behind their products... Big ripoff!

Never, ever buy a digital camera that has been manufactured by Casio! They will NOT stand behind their warranty. You will be stuck with a camera that doesn't work. I purchased a Casio EXZ75 from Dell less than a year ago and already it is messed up. I called Dell and they said that their warranty was just 30 days but that Casio covered the camera for a year. Well I sent the camera to Casio and they sent it back and said that it was NOT under warranty because the camera had a dent in it! No way does this camera have a dent in it. They just do not want to cover the camera! They did offer to fix the camera if I paid $138.00, I said no because I only paid $168.00 brand new. They also offered to let me pay $200.00 and get a "better" camera, (they called this trading up). What a RIPOFF. I reported them to the BBB of New Jersey but there doesn't seem to be anything else that I can do. Oh, well live and learn. Products are only as good as the company that stands behind them!
