Has my $507 & chronic liar trying to cheat/rip me off for "used" not new (as stated) sony bdp-s500 bayside new york

Beware e-bay buyers:
when this con-artist style seller gets your "immediate" payment & sends a defective unit get ready to be reamed by sweet talking "paul" as he promises exchange/replacement to be sent in at least 3 bus' days of reciept. So i send it back @$30.00 & one week later i've proof he's got it but he claims "i'll try to locate it" & when he does he says "our tech dept (yeah right) can't find anything wrong" & starts with "i was going to send back same unit but i didn't want to chance it blah... Blah" then says "replmnt unit will be shipped on 5/21/08 w / trking#". Nothing shipped & no trking# ever come & (of course) he ceased all contact!
Fortunately i filed complaint w / pay pal upon 1st noting defect on 5/5. Heres the kicker ; he just responded "we shipped package last week as promised & u'll get it in 48 hrs" but will not give trking # & again ceased contact. I started pymt dispute w / amex & i think i'll be ok. So proceed at your own risk e-bay buyers!
