My wife and i were getting gas and suddenly a white van drove up. One guy got out and said he was overstock with stereo speakers and was selling them at this great discount.

He showed me a magazine with stereos. He even pulled the speaker out the box. It looked great... Was package good... And i talked him down to $200.00 for a pair of sound speakers

My wife didn't want to buy them but i insisted and we purchashed the speakers. These were two white males... Califorina license plates. They sold their story by saying "they were on their way to a buyers home for delivery and didn't want to return unpurchased merchandise to their boss or he'll have to eat the charges."

Needless to say, i tried calling the number i asked the one fellow for. It was no such number. I also called the so-called warranty. It was a recording.

After a month, i went to see my friend who works for a high end stereo store here in Denver. I didn't get three words out before he humbled me by explaining i had been duped.

This scam requires jail for these people immediatly!
