Audiofile Chuck Willis

Electronics and household app.

California License plate 6S07033. Same story as everyone else. Chuck Willis, an installer, was issued two pairs of Audiofile 583XT speakers (total of 4), instead of one pair (total of 2). He had to meet his boss in 5 minutes of install the two speakers, so he had to get rid of the extra pair before he met his boss. He also had an Audiofile Home Theater HT 5 Pro Cinema Set of speakers. He sold me the pair of speakers with the Home Theater set for a total of $470.

They all came with a warranty, Chuck said, but I phoned the number of the warranty department and the phone number doesn't exist. And the warranty card says the warranty won't be honored if I don't have a sales receipt. (Chuck didn't give me one.)

I put a stop payment on the check five minutes after Chuck left, but he had already cashed it!

Same as with others, Chuck had shown me a magazine dated October which showed the speakers being worth $1,000 apiece, and the Home Theater set being worth $850.
