Direct Tv
Don't move if you have Direct TV!

Electronics and household app.

I signed on to Direct Tv about 4 months ago. I currently moved to diffrent location within the last two weeks. At the the new location, it will not get a signal (no line of sight). The tech tells me that this happens all the time and that they will close my account and not penalize me, since it was not my fault.

I called to see about this and they say that they will close my account and mail me a recovery package. I didn't think about it, until I got my bill. It was for $300. I called and spoke to an agent, he tells me that it's a legit charge. I asked to speak with a supervosor, she was no help. After telling her that this was a you problem and not a me problem, she gives me an adrress to dispute. I asked to speak to her supervisor, but he was busy helping other people. I asked for his supervisor or a department supervisor, but no luck. When I got a response from Direct Tv, it was the same... You had a signal, you moved, so it's your problem in plain terms. I don't think I should pay for something that I want to keep, but they cannot provide me with a service.

I don't see how a business can be ran this way, I guess I will have to pay; I don't want to hurt my credit score or get calls at work. Does anyone have any ideas??
