Rebate Rip off

I purchased a Versajette printer which supposedly had a 50.00 rebate. I sent in all the information they required and never heard back. After about 2 months I went to the store. I told them about never getting the rebate. They took my information and said it would take 2 weeks. After 18 days, I called. Noone answered the phone the first time. Second time I called, I talked to a girl and she said that they were still working on it. I asked for a time frame. She did not have one. I do not believe I will ever get the rebate! Total incompetence!
