Rebate ripoff

I purchased an HP Pavilion PC, 17 in monitor and printer directly form HP on line. The order confermation indicated that I had a $50 PC rebate, a $79.99 printer rebate and a $50 PC rebate. All three rebates required that I mail in the request for the rebates.

The first form indicated it was for the PC and moniter rebate together. It indicated that a $50 rebate for each is available. The form requested the model number and serial number of each. All requested information was attached to the form. A second rebate form was filled out and sent with all requested information for the printer ($79.99). I sent the required information in two large envelopes. I waited four weeks and checked online for the status of the three rebates, there was only one, the PC.

I called the number online and was told over and over that the only information in their computer was for the PC, $50. There was no information for the monitor or the printer. I said "the monitor is on the same form." The rep kept repeating that there was no monitor or printer information in their computer and I would need to resubmit the request. Why should I resubmit the request when you have the information?

I asked to speak to the supervisor, she just blatently lied to me. She told me that I incorrectly submitted the requerst. She said that the UPC codes were not valid because I pulled them off the box and did not submit part of the box. What! If that is true whay are the paying the $50 ofr the PC, that is the one I pealed of the box. She told me that I have to resubmit my request for the monitor and the printer again.

I will never buy an HP product again and I will discourage any one in my family and within shouting range to never buy and HP product. I was ripped of for $130 rebate, never again.
