Credit not paid on Cancelled account

I cancelled my Dishnetwork account effective 8/31/07. Since they bill in advance I overpaid by $25.88. I was told that they would send me out prepaid shipping lables and boxes to return the satelite boxes and that as soon as they recieved these they would send me a credit check for the $25.88. They recieved the recievers on 9/19/07. On Oct. 5th I called to find out what happened to my credit. I was told that they would process it for me and that I should recieve the check within 7-10 business days. On Oct. 22nd I still hadn't recieved the check so I called again and spoke to a supervisor (3JQ) and she said that it hadn't been sent yet and that she would expidite the process and I should recieve the check within 7 buisness days. Today I still hadn't recieved the check and called yet again. I was told today that the check was sent out on the 29th and that I should recieve it within 4 to 7 business days. I asked what happens if I don't get it in 4 to 7 business days? It was repeated to me that I should recieve the check within 4 to 7 business days. I told the rep that I heard that and even understood that, what I wanted to know was... What if I don't get the check within 4 to 7 business days, what is the procedure at that point. Again it was repeated to me that I should get the check within 4 tio 7 business days. It was as though that was the only english the rep knew. I had been told twice before that I was to recieve the check by a certian time and had not. This is only $25.88! How hard can it be to send me a check! After an hour on the phone I was told that if I don't get it by November 8th I need to wait until November 26th to have them mail another check that I will be lucky to recieve before December 8th. Merry Holidays! They had the recievers for over 30 days and took no action to credit me my money. If I had owed them then I would have been charged a late fee and finance charges ect. They really are pathetic and I am glad I am no longer their customer.
