Direct TV
Forced me to pay for a service I didn't have to have

Electronics and household app.

Direct TV's movers connection came to my house to install the system. They told me that I didn't have a clear shot from my property to make the system work. The system would have to be put on my roof and I would have to have the top of a tree cut off. After paying $250 to have the top of the tree cut off, I have the movers connection come out again. This was a different installer and he began setting the dish up on my porch. I told him there was no signal there. He assured me that there was. I told him what the other installers said and he said that they were wrong. I didn't have to put the dish on the roof and I didn't have to have the tree cut down. After speaking to customer support, they tell me that it's my fault. I shouldn't have had the tree cut down without getting a second opinion from another installer. Their installer was the one that told me to cut the tree down. They told me "we do not admit to making any mistakes", and will not cover the $250 for cutting down the tree.
