Dell Computers Preferred Payment Accounts — DO THEY VIOLATE USE USUARY LAWS? Los Angeles California

In August I bought a Dell Laptop on Sale... $799.. 00. To save some costs I bought my programs separate, and then I was involved in a major auto accident that would not allow me to pay for this item quickly...

Here it is, almost 2 years later, and while ALL of my other credit cards go down, and I pay everything off... I have a bill now for $1.611.00."Why?" you ask& because even though I have paid EVERY mo... The company charges a nearly 30% interest rate... And to add insult to injury, they add on a $35.00 late charge that is automatically late... Even when you pay ahead...

I wont buy from Dell again, not cause I dont like the computer but because of their abusive business tactics (IE: the constant harrassing phone calls if they have not recieved your payment, and a computized call that calls every 1-2 hours; the exorbindent additional costs; the poor service because they have to talk to you; you can only buy their product, and put it on your preferred account (we love you!)

I have never felt so violated by any company before... They make places like Ca*, A*s, (REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES) and other big institutions look like Angels...

I am of mine to call the atty state general's office and find out if there is some usuary violations here... However it goes, I am going to pay off this bill and never use this companys financial services again... It is probably one reason they are not in malls anymore.
