Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing and NO REBATE

Electronics and household app.

I purchased a brand new Motorola V3t cellphone, via letstalk.com on 12/17/06. A two year service contract was necessary to file this transaction. I received the telephone on 12/24/06 and activated the two telephones on the service plan ($49.99) per the agreement. The transaction was started via an internet transaction at www.letstalk.com wherein the form stated that I would received rebates, some of them instant, and one mail in which was processed. The total amount paid was to be $. 02 after the rebates and mail ins for the two year contract at $49.99 per month. I paid $139.97 initially, which I was told that the money would be paid back in the form of rebates. My total based on the let's talk bill was $. 02. I was charged $139, instead of the $99 agreed upon and have heard nothing about a refund for the overage. When I received the t-mobile bill (1st bill $148.09 $139 initial payment) there was no rebate there and contacted the company. I was told that they did NOT HAVE ANY REBATE for me. I was told that I would pay the monthly fee for service and that is it. I have paid much more and t-mobile has decided not to credit, give information for payments or give any information regarding the amounts charged to my account or to even show the charges on my bill! Just the amount owed.

I submitted my rebate for $100 for the special that was due to me on 1/22/07 with the 1st bill for the T-mobile bill. When I did not receive the rebate after six weeks, I contacted T-mobile for the rebate status on the two phones, I did not receive any information. I contacted customer service and was told that they did not' receive the rebate and I was told to re-submitt the rebate as it was past the rebate offer date. I did, however make copies of everything and resubmitted the Rebate per their information. Still no money.

I submitted the 2nd rebate request with all of the information previously submitted on 3/10/07 per the instructions that I was given. I have contacted T-mobile regarding the rebate status and have received no information regarding the promised $100 rebate I was promised on the telephone. Still they say that they have none of my information.

I paid the first bill on 2/10/07, via my online banking (which was due on 2/14/07). I received my 2nd bill in March which was again due on the 14th of the month. I contacted the company's automated system to check my balance due and noted that the amounts did not match up. I was told by the customer service representative that they had put my account in suspension' due to non-payment. This is an error on their part and I would like the $40 that the company has charged me for non-payment reversed. Payment was made on time. There is nothing on my statement to indicate a $40 fee. T-mobile has just added the amount to the bill without anything on the bill. They still state that I am past due and I have paid a lot of money because I need my phone.

On another note, the service for the phone is absolutely horrible. I am frequently not able to make calls within eye sight of cell towers. I have the telephone (s) for emergencies. The phone just simply does not work properly. I also had a problem with a ring-tone that was fraudulently placed on my telephone last month. This matter was cleared up, however, it is apparent to me that there are problems on T-mobile's end with anyone even having the ability to do this to me. I never changed my ring-tone (from the ring tones that T-mobile offers for calls coming in), however, my account was charged. I was told that anyone knowing my cell phone number has the ability to activate a ring tone to it. I find this fact very frightening and would like to be let out of my contract. The company has clearly not delivered on all their promises: (1) $100 rebate, (2) excellent range and accessibility in my area, (3) fraudulent charges to my phone, (4) added fees that are unwarranted when payment has been made on a timely basis.

Please note that I would like to be let out of my cell phone contract due to negligence on the companies part. If they are not willing to let me out of my contract, then I would at least like them to reverse the suspension charges associated with their poor service in posting my payment. I would also like my $100 rebate that was promised and submitted twice. How does a company not receive a rebate when it was sent in on a timely basis. It shows that they are very behind on their recording practices.
