Rip-Off on extended agreements

Two years ago I purchased a 46" Samsung DLP TV from Circuit City, at that time we purchased an additional 2-year City Advantage warraty. This is the only warranty that I have ever seen that starts the day you buy it! I had it for two months and the color wheel started to stick giving off a blue or a red sceen!

I called City Advan. And they told me that it was still under manufacture warraty and that I would have to call them! Samsung pointed me to a place in Lansing Michigan called Precision Electronics they made an appointment to come and look at it but never showed up!

Never returned my messages etc. My warranty ran out on Feb 20 and it finally got fixed 30 some phone calls later! If the warranty kicks in the day we buy something then shouldn't Circuit City be liable for the repair?
